About Data Management and System engineer (SID System Integration and Design)

Our data managers’ scope of work entails confirming and designing project system requirements including databases for analyzing the data that are collected from medical institutions during the process of developing new drugs, medical devices, therapies, etc.
Utilizing these project systems, Data Management and System engineer (SID System Integration and Design) personnel scrutinize data and check input contents, etc. while compiling a data package of adequate quality for the purpose of statistical analysis.

Flow Workflow

  • Step01

    • Preliminary discussion with clients (identify the scope of data capture, proposal of work systems and processes, and discussion of schedule)
    • Preparation of various Data Management work documents including a data management plan and checklist
    • Preparation of a database definition document, specification sheet, etc.
    • EDC/Database design and build
  • Step02

    • Instruction of data cleaning and coding work, quality control, and schedule management
    • Review of data to identify any mistaken entries or abnormal laboratory values
    • Resolution of data queries, and responses to inquiries and corrections
    • Schedule confirmation, preliminary discussion, etc. towards database lock
  • Step03

    • Database lock
    • Report preparation
    • System destruction and return of materials
  • Data Management and System engineer (SID System Integration and Design) personnel may sometimes manage some of the activities in Step 01 to Step 03.
  • Personnel frequently need to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
