About Project Management

Our Project Managers (PMs) run and lead multiple projects through coordination across numerous departments working on clinical development and clinical research for drugs, medical devices, regenerative medicine products, etc. Grasping the needs of clients and responding to the various requirements, our PMs ensure that projects are appropriately completed. They strengthen cooperation between departments and guide project teams towards success.
The work of our PMs includes numerous external liaison duties including status reporting, making proposals and providing clients with solutions to problems.

  • Project managers assume major responsibility in conducting operational management of overall projects.
  • Project managers can work with various clients in Japan and overseas and gain experience in projects of various therapeutic areas.

Scope of Work Scope of Work

    • Overall progress management including multiple departments and Group companies from the start to the end of projects
    • Serve as the main point of contact with clients
    • Facilitate and lead internal and external meetings
    • Ease communication and conduct team building activities within CMIC
    • Bring solutions to various problems that occur during project implementation and formulate measures to prevent reoccurrence
    • Prepare and manage plans
    • Manage and review related documents and work procedures applied in projects
    • Manage project schedule, budget and personnel
    • Manage risks and control the quality of projects utilizing key performance indicators and measures to assure data integrity, etc.
  • Project Managers execute their work in cooperation with clients, various departments in CMIC, affiliated companies, vendors and more.
  • Project Managers also have opportunities to use English at work because they manage joint projects with overseas partners and interact with overseas clients.
